Fall Cleanup

When you can't leave the leaves, we're here to take them away.

About Our Fall Cleanup Service

At 131 Landscaping, we believe that keeping up with the majority of the leaves in your yard is essential to keeping your yard clean and healthy.

Why Clean Up Leaves?

  • Lawn Health: A thick layer of leaves can suffocate the grass, hindering its growth and causing patchy areas.
  • Fungal Issues: Wet leaves can create a breeding ground for mold and fungus that can damage your lawn.
  • Aesthetics: A clean lawn enhances curb appeal.

Why Some Leaves Can Be Good

  • Natural Mulch or Compost: A thin layer of leaves can act as mulch as they decompose and return nutrients to the soil they lay on. This can be very useful in bed spaces. We always prefer to mulch leaves when possible for this reason.
  • Wildlife: Leaves can provide shelter and food for small creatures like insects and amphibians, especially important for them to have a place to overwinter.

What does our Fall Cleanup Service Include?

  • Debris Removal: Routinely throughout the fall, leaves, sticks and other debris will be picked up.
  • Different Methods: Depending on the conditions, leaves may be dealt with in different ways. For example, in dry conditions, leaves can be mulched back into the yard, but in wet conditions, leaves may need to be removed.
  • Disposal: All debris can be either hauled away by us, or left somewhere on the property depending on what you need!
